About Paul
The new Principal of Summit Christian School, Paul Eggenberger was the former Principal of Victory Christian School Fair Oaks for four years. He graduated from Sonoma State University in 1971 with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with graduate work in Policy Analysis-Administration and Educational Leadership, and a MA in Education, Management and Innovation from Western Governors University (2009) with an emphasis in Project Management and Digital Technology. Prior to returning to Christian Education, Mr. Eggenberger served as an Assistant City Manager, as a Program Director at Sonoma State University, as a contract negotiator, mediator and business agent for a public employees union, and later as a small business owner for 15 years.
Paul has taught in both public and Christian schools grades 4 through 12. He has a number of teaching credentials including the Association of Christian Schools International, two State of California Teaching Credentials for K-12, and an Administrative Credential for all levels. Paul has worked with both adults and young people having served as a Bible Teacher, Science and Math teacher, History, PE, Chaplain, Student Activities Advisor, coach, youth leader, conference and teacher in-service speaker. He has won awards from the State of California and the Petaluma School District for his teaching. Paul also serves on the ACSI/WASC School Accreditation teams.
